#ISSSTE.- As part of the strategy to equip and improve medical units, the representative office of the Institute for Social Security and Services of State Workers (ISSSTE) in Tlaxcala received two new ambulances, one for transfers and another for emergencies, as well as 938 pieces of equipment, furniture and supplies for the benefit of 165 thousand 462 beneficiaries.

The sub-delegate for Administration, José Juan Saldívar Mendoza, highlighted that, after the visit of the general director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, to the medical units in the state during 2022, the needs of the clinics and the general hospital were defined, for which reason managed the supply of equipment and furniture from the institute’s central warehouse. Today, the advances are a reality that will allow to solve to a greater extent the demands among the entitled population.

In the warehouse of the state representation of the institute in the entity, 788 pieces of equipment, furniture and supplies were received, of which distribution has already begun in the four Family Medicine Units (UMF) located in Apizaco, Zacatelco, Huamantla and Calpulalpan, as well as in the Family Medicine Clinic (CMF) Tlaxcala.
